Austin Eckroat wasn’t even in kindergarten yet the last time Edmond North didn’t win the Class 6A boys golf championship. Tyson Reeder was just a first-grader. And they don’t want to see that reign end on their watch.
The father of a 15-year-old freshman at Edmond North High School has written an open letter to the former student police allege to have threatened mass casualties at the school, Today.com reports.
A spokeswoman for the Edmond police department said Friday that bomb-making materials were found during a search of the former Edmond student's home.

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — Two items on Robert Streb’s bucket list are attending an Oklahoma-Texas football game and playing at Augusta National.
He never could have guessed which would be the first one scratched off the list.
Streb, a graduate of Edmond North, closed with a 7-under 63 on Sunday and won the McGladrey Classic with the most significant shot of his young career, an 8-iron to 4 feet for birdie on the second extra hole of a three-man playoff at Sea Island that helped secure a trip to the Masters next April.
“One is easier to get to. I just haven’t done it yet,” Streb said with a smile. “Definitely thought I would have made that game by now.”

Southmoore’s 24-21 victory at Moore Stadium wasn’t secured until Edmond North fumbled the snap on what would have been a game-tying 23-yard field goal and the SaberCats recovered with two seconds remaining.

A photographic moment with her brother Bright captured in late summer was something special for Dike. It was a celebration not only for her but also for her brother; one of the soccer-playing siblings from Edmond got to play in a World Cup.
