Chalk up another award for country music entertainer Taylor Swift. She was named the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year at the Annual Fragrance Foundation Awards recently. “My first fragrance, Wonderstruck, it was all about a day dream, a fantasy, this romantic ideal that we all have,” Taylor said when accepting her award.

Zac Posen says "I do" and partners with David's Bridal

Here comes the bridal designer … .and it’s Zac Posen. He hitched his creative talents with David’s Bridal for a collection of bridal gowns that’s much more budget friendly than his usual clothing. Called Truly Zac Posen, the line will consist of six gowns that will be in stores February 2014. The gowns will be in gradations of ivory and priced between $850 and $1,350.

All 301 Belk stores will celebrate the company’s 125th anniversary with festivities, entertainment and giveaways on May 29. In Oklahoma, Belk stores are in Stillwater, Tulsa and Owasso. The first Belk store opened on May 29, 1888, in Monroe, N.C., and is still family owned.
