    IN BRIEF Norman Core Norman meeting set The public is invited to a kickoff meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for the Center City Vision project, a joint planning effort of city and University of Oklahoma officials. The kickoff will be in the fellowship hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 235 W Duffy St. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Bill Lennertz, executive director of the National Charrette Institute, based in Portland, Ore., is lead consultant for the project. Other team members include staff from the firms Opticos and Ferrell Madden. The visioning team is charged with looking at the downtown West Main and Campus Corner areas, as well as the neighborhoods in between, and coming up with a long-range development plan.
