• Why 2016 quarterback Austin Kendall will star at OU

    Published: Wed, Jul 29, 2015

Austin Kendall doesn't hit campus until 2016 for Oklahoma football, but the North Carolina native is already creating a buzz as the Sooners' next potential standout at quarterback. Bleacher Reports's Michael Felder has three reasons why Kendall will star at OU: Escapability, the ability to throw into tight windows and being able to throw a catchable ball. From Felder on Kendall's mobility: "He's not Trevor Knight. He's not going to run for 200 yards, but he does have the ability to get out of the pocket." Check out the B/R video here .

EDMOND — On a hot summer day two years ago, Cayman Bundage had his little brother broken and in tears, not in typical big brother fashion but as a mentor and workout partner. Bundage was back from his first season as an offensive lineman at Arizona. He was running two miles, but also dragging along Calvin Bundage, who was then about to enter his sophomore year as a short, pudgy baseball player who was turning away from football. “He’s crying,” Cayman Bundage said. “He said, ‘Man, I’m done. I ain’t running this,’ and then he ran inside.” It was that breaking point that led Calvin Bundage down a new path to prove people he could make it.

Oklahoma State offered a scholarship on Sunday night, and Oklahoma came through with an offer on Thursday night.
