Several leaders with the Interfaith Alliance of Oklahoma contacted me today to see if I could get the word out that the Interfaith Prayer Service for tornado victims that was scheduled for tonight in Oklahoma City has been postponed.

Several Oklahoma City area churches are hosting prayer services tonight in effort to provide prayers and solace to people affected by the storms that have ravaged the state in the last few days.

With truly open hearts, dear Lord, we can see Your presence where we least expect it.

NORMAN– Two Norman churches — New Life Bible Church and Norman Community Church —   have joined together to host a community-wide memorial and prayer service at 7 p.m.

Dear merciful Lord, we turn to You in difficult times. Amen.
