    HUNTER SOUTHERLAND, WESTMOORE Class: Senior Position: Catcher The story: The Oklahoma signee was a steady presence for Westmoore’s Class 6A state runner-up finish. He hit .379 with nine home runs and 37 RBIs. He was his best late in the season, hitting two homers in regionals and one in the state quarterfinals.   PLAYER OF THE YEAR COREY ZANGARI, CARL ALBERT Class: Senior Position: First base The story: Zangari put on a power display with 19 home runs and 64 RBIs while leading Carl Albert to a Class 5A state runner-up finish that was highlighted by three homers — two of which were grand slams — in the state tournament.     In Yukon, there is no reason to be bored this summer!  Check out our 10 favorite free summer events in Yukon. 1.  Freedom Fest:  Freedom Fest starts the evening of July 3 with a tribute to veterans and continues all day July 4.  The annual celebration is held at Yukon City Park, 2200 S Holly, and Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W Vandament.  The parks interconnect, creating a 100-acre fun zone.   Fireworks shows start at 10 p.m. July 3 and July 4, so bring your family, lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy! Six free outdoor concerts are on the Freedom Fest 2015 agenda, including the Oklahoma City Philharmonic at 8:30 p.m. July 4.
