Del City house fire called suspicious
DEL CITY — A fire that heavily damaged a Del City house and killed a cat on Wednesday is being investigated as suspicious in nature, authorities said.
Del City fire Maj. Brandon Pursell said the blaze was reported about 6 a.m. at 3932 Thomas Drive. Intense flames caused the firefighters to fight the fire from outside the home.
A pet cat died in the blaze, Pursell said.
