"There certainly is an outlook indicated on the radar for some slight accumulation of a mixed precipitation coming your direction on Sunday," weather service meteorologist Dave Tucek told the Vincennes Sun-Commercial. "It should be pretty minor, certainly compared to what you've already experienced, but maybe an inch or two more of snow and probably less than a tenth of an inch of ice."

The St. Vincent Hospital emergency department on Indianapolis' north side made bags of road salt available for free Saturday in an effort to encourage older adults to be more vigilant and avoid emergency room visits related to falls on ice.

The traffic fatalities occurred Thursday night near Richmond and near Terre Haute as the first major snowstorm of the season hit the southern half of the state.
