Motorcyclist dies after Greer County accident

About 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Michael David Reuter, 46, of Altus, was riding a motorcycle on State Highway 6 when the motorcycle hit the back of a tractor driven by Jeremy Denton, 35, of Mangum, troopers said.

A motorcyclist died after suffering injuries in a Greer County accident, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Michael David Reuter, 46, of Altus, was riding a motorcycle southbound on State Highway 6 when the motorcycle hit the back of a tractor driven by Jeremy Denton, 35, of Mangum, troopers said.

After the motorcycle hit the tractor, Reuter was ejected about 105 feet south of the collision, troopers said.

Reuter died in an Altus hospital, and Denton was not injured, troopers said.
