Motorcyclist dies in Oklahoma crash

About 3:10 p.m., an eastbound pickup turned in the path of the westbound motorcyclist on Alameda Drive near Oliphant Avenue in Norman, Oklahoma. The motorcyclist died at the scene, Norman police Lt. Brent Barbour said.

A motorcyclist died Sunday after a crash with a pickup, police said.

The motorcyclist's name was not immediately released.

About 3:10 p.m., an eastbound pickup turned in the path of the westbound motorcyclist on Alameda Drive near Oliphant Avenue, Norman police Lt. Brent Barbour said.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup was not hurt, and one of the two passengers in the pickup suffered minor injuries, Barbour said.
