The Blue Raiders, who have won eight games each of the past two seasons, start the season Aug. 30 hosting Savannah State. Athletic director Chris Massaro said Monday it is a very attractive home schedule with Western Kentucky visiting Sept. 13 followed by Southern Miss on Oct. 4 and UAB on Oct. 18.

Middle Tennessee plays three of its first five games on the road going to Minnesota on Sept. 6, Memphis on Sept. 20 and at Old Dominion on Sept. 27. The Blue Raiders also visit Marshall on Oct. 11 and FIU on Nov. 15 with the regular-season finale Nov. 29 at UTEP.
