TAHLEQUAH — Prosecutors have filed murder and robbery charges against a Muskogee couple accused in the deaths of two Tahlequah residents.

Jessie Redford and Tracy Redford are charged in the August deaths of Angela Findlay and Jesse Catron. A local newspaper reports that Jessie Redford is Findlay's sister and Catron's niece.

A probable cause affidavit filed Monday alleges that the Redfords cut the throats of Findlay and Catron. The pair is also accused of stealing credit cards belonging to Findlay.

Catron and Findlay's bodies were found Aug. 15 by police officers conducting a welfare check.

Jessie Redford and Tracy Redford, who are married, are being held without bond. Court records do not list an attorney for either defendant.
