Mustang Broncos stay perfect, halt Broken Arrow rally

MUSTANG — Class 6A has been dominated by eastern Oklahoma football powers in recent years.

On Friday night, unbeaten Mustang proved it is one of Class 6A’s elite teams and worthy of being a title contender.

The Broncos jumped to an 18-point lead then held off a furious Broken Arrow rally to defeat the Tigers 28-23 to advance to the state semifinals next week.
