MUSTANG — Western heritage and old-fashioned fun will take center stage Friday and Saturday during the 38th annual Mustang Western Days.
The event has become a popular September activity, with an estimated 30,000 people attending over its two-day run.
Events include a carnival on Friday and Saturday, a chili cook-off, a rodeo hosted by the Mustang Roundup Club, a car show, a parade on Saturday morning and free music throughout both days.
Saturday kicks off with a pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Mustang United Methodist Church, 211 W State Highway 152.
There also will be a 5k and fun run at 7:15 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Saturday at the Mustang High School track, 801 S Snyder.
