A Mustang man pleaded guilty today to 10 counts of forcing teenage girls to make pornographic videos.

William Lawrence West, 38, faces up to 30 years in federal prison when he is sentenced in a few months.

West was indicted in May by a federal grand jury in Oklahoma City. He allegedly coerced the girls — one who appeared to be about 12 and the other about 15 — to engage in sexually explicit conduct between December 2006 and February 2007, according to the indictment.

West also faces five counts of sexual abuse of a child in Canadian County.

Those charges were filed in January after one of the girls told a teacher she was being abused by West, according to court papers filed there.

Investigators learned West had received a bad conduct discharge from the Air Force after being convicted of possession of obscene materials involving minors and impeding an investigation, according to an affidavit written by Mustang Police officer James Davis. West was imprisoned for six months before he was discharged.
