Mustang woman dies in ATV wreck in McCurtain County

A Mustang woman was killed Thursday in an all-terrain vehicle wreck near Bethel in McCurtain County, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.

A Mustang woman died Thursday in an all-terrain vehicle wreck, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.

Reta Jean Brown, 53, was driving an ATV east on a forestry road two miles south of Bethel in McCurtain County, when she ran off the road for an unknown reason about 4 p.m., troopers said.

The ATV hit a tree. Brown, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. has disabled the comments for this article.
