Rangers have a shot at playoffs
Texas Rangers broadcaster Eric Nadel said he’s encouraged about the Rangers’ chances of returning to the playoffs for the first time since 1999: "In past years, if they’ve gotten off to a good start, it’s because they’re outscoring teams, winning games 9-8. They are not winning that way now. They are winning with pitching and defense, which is how good teams eventually win. That’s why I am encouraged that this team can stay in the race. The starting rotation looks solid now, and their defense is outstanding, and that’s the making of a championship team in my estimation. And it just seems to be one of those years where they are catching breaks, such as not having to face Roy Halladay in the Toronto series.”
