— The Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued a news release Thursday clarifying the name of a driver who died of injuries after her vehicle hit a tree that had fallen across an Atoka County road.

Tinia M. Sorrells-Cord, 42, of Atoka, suffered head and internal injuries in the collision, which happened about 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to the report. She was wearing her seat belt.
