NASA to honor graduate of OU
BILOXI , Miss. — Former astronaut and University of Oklahoma graduate Fred Haise Jr. will receive NASA ’s Ambassador of Exploration Award during a ceremony Dec. 2 at the Gorenflo Elementary School in Biloxi, Miss.
Haise then will present the award, consisting of a moon rock encased in Lucite for display, to the elementary school, which he attended.
