The society recognizes the top 3 percent of students in Greek fraternities and sororities based on scholastic achievement, leadership and participation.
The Edmond students are:
Tiffanee Cabrera and
Lindsey Hanna,
Alpha Xi Delta;
Jay Adams,
Pi Kappa Alpha; and
Aubrey Frazier,
Alpha Gamma Delta.
"It’s a privilege for us to welcome new students this semester, and we are glad they have accepted membership into the honor society,” said
Jessica Schwab, Order of Omega adviser and assistant director of Greek Life and Student Organizations at UCO.
Other new members from the metro area are
Laura Parsons,
Oklahoma City, Alpha Xi Delta;
Chase Moore,
Norman, Pi Kappa Alpha;
Logan Pennington, Oklahoma City, Pi Kappa Alpha;
Elizabeth Le, Mustang, Delta Zeta; Brittany Smith, Stillwater, Delta Zeta;
Hunter Scott,
Minco,
Sigma Tau Gamma;
Darren Dupus,
Prague, Sigma Tau Gamma;
Vanessa Canfield, Oklahoma City, Alpha Gamma Delta;
Ryan Taylor, Oklahoma City, Sigma Nu; and
Tabitha Terrell, Oklahoma City,

The decision to extend membership to a student is based on several factors including character, scholarship, offices held, Greek participation and service to the local community and UCO.
Only students who are affiliated with a Greek organization and who are junior level students or above may be accepted each academic year.
