Expect a bargain if you will be taking a trip to Yellowstone. The cost for a family entering Yellowstone National Park for up to seven consecutive days is little more than a third of what one adult will pay for a single day at Disney World.

National park fees
National park entrance fees vary by unit and sometimes by season. The current vehicle entry fees for some of our most popular national park units are displayed below. The listed fee is generally good for one week. Reduced fees are charged for individuals and motorcycles. Higher fees apply to commercial vehicles. Among the fees:

→Acadia National Park (Maine), $20 peak season; $10 off-season.

→Badlands National Park (South Dakota), $15.

→Canyonlands National Park (Utah), $10.

→Chickasaw National Recreation Area (Sulphur, OK), No entry fee.

→Colorado National Monument (Colorado), $7.

→Death Valley National Park (California/Nevada), $20.

→Everglades National Park (Florida), $10.

→Glacier National Park (Montana), $25 summer; $15 winter.

→Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona), $25; applies to both North and South Rim.

→Olympic National Park (Washington), $15.

→Rocky Mountain National Park (Colorado), $20.

→Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park (California), $20.

→Shenandoah National Park (Virginia), $15; $10 December through February.

→Washita Battlefield National Historic Site (Cheyenne, OK), No entry fee.

→Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming), $25.

→Yosemite National Park (California), $20.

→Zion National Park (Utah), $25.
