National pregame: Look for UCLA to upset Stanford

UCLA is having quite the season. The Bruins won 41-21 at Nebraska and won 34-27 at Utah, where Stanford failed to win last week.

Yet Saturday, the Bruins are six-point underdogs at Stanford.

The Cardinal has been golden three straight years, going to the Rose, Fiesta and Orange the last three seasons.

But there are signs that Stanford has slipped. The loss last week at Utah. A tight home fit with Washington, 31-28. A too-close-for-comfort game at Army, 34-20.

UCLA has a veteran and talented quarterback in Brett Hundley. The Bruins have a coach, Jim Mora Jr., who has coached on football's biggest stages and has UCLA believing.

The wrong team is favored. Go with the Bruins in the upset.
