National Signing Day: OU signee Justice Hansen thanks the important people in his life, including his trainers

Had he been healthy, his numbers could have increased like they had each previous year.

“The season he was having and the confidence our team exuded with him pulling the trigger his senior year, it was amazing what he was headed for midway through the year,” Edmond Santa Fe coach Lance Manning said.

The Sooners, meanwhile, got a big boost Wednesday with four-star receiver Michiah Quick and four-star lineman Orlando Brown Jr. signing, improving on an already strong class.

That impressed the four-star quarterback.

“It ended up turning out real well,” Hansen said with a big smile. “Our class is real tight and we all recruited all of the people. Coming into Oklahoma, you already know a lot of guys. You know me and then everybody else has been helping recruit.”

Still, for one more time, Hansen was focused on his old school before he returns for graduation in May.

“I haven't been back here in awhile, it feels like,” Hansen said. “It's cool seeing all my old friends and teachers and stuff.

“Just one more time to come back and see everybody.”
