The annual $100,000 Big Bass Bonanza on the Arkansas River in the state of Arkansas is set for June 29-July 1.

The tournament is for amateur anglers only. It awards $50,000 to the angler catching the largest bass overall. The winner also earns a berth in the Bassmaster Central Open in September on Fort Gibson Lake.

Another $40,000 — or $10,000 each — will be distributed among the anglers who catch the largest fish in each of the four remaining weigh-in pools. Another $10,000 will be divided among hourly prizes.

Anglers can fish in five separate pools on the Arkansas River for hourly prizes. The eligible waters in the tournament are the nearly 300 miles of the Arkansas River within the state of Arkansas.
