Native American events planned in metro

The Metropolitan Library System will celebrate Native American culture with a festival and Fancy Dancers Tour during October.
The Native American Festival will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Downtown Library, 300 Park Ave. The festival will have dancers, food, crafts and entertainment. The festival and dance performances are free. Dancers are all enrolled tribal members.More Info

• 1 p.m. Monday, Warr Acres Library
• 7 p.m. Monday, Edmond Library
• 1 p.m. Oct. 6, Capitol Hill Library
• 7 p.m. Oct. 6, Bethany Library
• 1 p.m. Oct. 7, Southern Oaks Library
• 1 p.m. Oct. 8, The Village Library
• 7 p.m. Oct. 8, Belle Isle Library
• 10:30 a.m. Oct. 9, Del City Library
