Nature center observes World Bird Day today
NORMAN — Lake Thunderbird State Park will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day today at the park's new nature center with activities for both children and adults.
At 9 a.m., a bird walk will be led by Warren Harden. After the walk, Harden will give a presentation about local birds. The presentation, for ages 7 through adult, is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.
