NewsOK Sports 9:58 a.m. If you haven't heard, LeBron James will be a free agent again, as his agent announced that James is opting out of his contract:

How does that affect the NBA and the Thunder? Anthony Slater will be on at 11 a.m. to answer all your questions, so get them in now. Thanks for joining us!
NewsOK Sports 9:59 a.m. While you wait ....
NewsOK Sports 10:38 a.m. Also while you wait, the odds of this are practically negative, but here's LeBron James in a Thunder jersey:
Anthony Slater 10:56 a.m. Ok, let's get started a little early.
NBA Draft on Thursday
Free agency on July 1st
LeBronathon starting now
Josh of Ish 10:57 a.m. The podcast was great, and I am with you. Do what you have to do to get Afflalo. The NBA landscape is shifting massively, and the OKC Thunder are standing still. I love Lamb, but if he has to be part of the deal make it happen. The Thunder cannot wait to see if either he develops into a consistent contributor and/or Brooks can't find another 40yr old to play instead.
Anthony Slater 10:58 a.m. Yep. There's definitely some cap maneuvering that needs to happen (Afflalo's $7.5 million contract exceeds OKC's trade exception), but he seems like such an ideal fit. What this team needs to take it over the top. Try to get it done without Lamb, but the Thunder shouldn't be afraid to add him.
Anthony Slater 10:59 a.m. Also, for those interested in our NBA Draft preview podcast, it is here:

Or on iTunes here:
Josh of Ish 10:59 a.m. I would trade for Afflalo, still sign CJ Miles, and maybe pick up PJ Tucker if you can.
Anthony Slater 11:00 a.m. If OKC gets Afflalo, they'd probably look for another big. Maybe a four-man. Or a back-up point guard. CJ Miles is a possibility, but I don't see them stockpiling only wings.
Josh of Ish 11:00 a.m. Someone tell me KD doesn't have an opt out clause!?!
Anthony Slater 11:02 a.m. No opt-out for Kevin Durant. That was probably an undertold, but important, story at the time he announced his contract signing via Twitter. He willingly signed for five more years without the opt-out because he knew it would help OKC in its planning stages. A selfless act.
Jon 11:02 a.m. Why do we want shumpart so bad and why do the Knicks want to get rid of him so bad?
Anthony Slater 11:03 a.m. I'm with you in some ways.
