NBA dancers bring cheer to girl with rare disease
A surprise visit by two Thunder dancers brightened the day of a teenager recovering from a rare skin disease that sidelined her own cheerleading season.
"Oh my gosh,” exclaimed Darrilyn Smith, 15, when she saw Crystal and Lauren, two dancers with the Oklahoma City NBA team. ( NBA dancers do not use their last names.) The dancers gave Smith signed photographs and invited her to a basketball game.
