NBA experts weigh in on home playoff crowds and on Oklahoma City:

→Jackie MacMullen, Around the Horn regular on ESPN

"I have not had the pleasure of taking in a game there, but I asked some NBA colleagues and they all give the Oklahoma City fans high marks for enthusiasm. They liked the idea of standing until the first basket and believe the Thunder have almost a college feel to their fan base. That’s a good thing.”

→Chris Tomasson, FanHouse senior NBA writer

"Good crowds at the Ford Center. It’s like a college environment. I haven’t seen a game there this season, but I saw one last season and several back when the Hornets were in town. Even when the team is crummy, the fans were cheering. All the Thunder needs is a band, and then it really will be a college environment.

"The energy definitely will help the Thunder at home in the playoffs. The only problem is the Lakers don’t easily get rattled.”

→Marc Spears, Yahoo! Sports NBA writer

"The best playoff crowds? That’s easy. It’s basically the same places that it is in the regular season.”
