NBA Finals: Beware the return of Chris Bosh

'The Heatles' -- Want to know the importance of Chris Bosh's return to the Heat lineup? Ask the Boston Celtics.

CHRIS BOSH

Television analyst and former NBA coach Jeff Van Gundy was spot-on when he repeatedly said not enough was made of Heat forward Chris Bosh missing nine playoff games with an injured abdomen.

Bosh has a huge presence, both in stature and his shooting touch. No one is able to fill the gap at the position when Bosh is out — not even by committee.

The Big Three ain't close to being the Big Three when one of them is missing.

Bosh, James and Wade combined to score the final 31 points of Game 7 in the Finals-clinching victory against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night

Before Game 7, Bosh was a combined 4 for 20 (.200) from 3-point range in the postseason. On Saturday, he went 3 for 4 beyond the arc and scored 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field.

Rested and apparently healthy, Bosh very well could replace Wade in the pecking order and play Robin to James' Batman in the Finals.
