NBA Finals: Dwyane Wade arrives in Oklahoma City still looking for his groove
THE ‘HEATLES': Miami guard Dwyane Wade's 3-point shot has abandoned him. He needs to find it because LeBron James can't beat the Thunder by himself.
Any minute now, Dwyane Wade figures to get his groove back. The Thunder just hopes it kicks in during training camp next season.
It seems like dog years since the seven-time All-Star hit a game-winning shot.
Though he's shooting a respectable 47.0 from the field this postseason, his 3-point shooting has abandoned him at 27.6 percent. Last postseason, Wade shot just 26.9 percent from 3-point range.
In the Eastern Conference Finals, Wade shot 44.4 percent from the field, 25.0 percent from 3-point range and also averaged 3.3 turnovers. Those numbers won't fly against the Thunder.
An effective Wade is vital to the Heat's chances of winning this year's title because unlike Boston, James won't be able to beat OKC by himself.
