Miami forward Chris Bosh missed part of the NBA Playoffs with an abdominal injury. He says he learned from his time spent watching the games.

Q: There's so much talk about this team's big three, or LeBron, or LeBron and Dwyane. But how much has this playoff run and Game 2 in OKC shown you guys how important it is to get production from other guys?

A: “We've always seen ourselves as a team. We know, with the media machine, that certain guys are going to get attention on this team. We can't really deter from that. We're 15 strong, and we need every guy, from the guys that are in suits, to the starters. We need production from everybody. We can't do it alone, and I think we all know that. So it's always been a team effort no matter what happens. Defensively, offensively, we've just always been in sync. In order to do something special, we're going to have to do it together and we all know that.”

What did you learn about that team aspect when you were out with injury?

“Just when you're not in the game, you can watch. Certain players have mannerisms, and they do the same things repetitiously. And I was just watching it over and over and over, trying to plug myself in situations. I was able to see the open spots on the court where I can really move and work to get offensive rebounds and get balls for easy shots. It was an unfortunate thing being out, but at that time I was trying to really use my time wisely because I knew I was going to be able to come back and I knew we were going to be able to get to this situation so I had to be ready for when that happened.”
