Durant on the Thunder's Nick Collison: “He could care less about how many shots he takes or how many rebounds he gets, he's just going to play hard and do what the coaches tell him to do.”
Thunder guard Russell Westbrook: “I just know I can do a lot of other things other than score the ball for this team.”
Brooks: “We are a defensive team, and everybody knows that. Our players demand it out of each other, and our timeouts, our huddles, is always about defense.”
Westbrook: “Honestly, I think we just came out with a lot more intensity on the defensive end, made them feel us a little bit, did a great job of being aggressive on the defensive end, and that led to easy points offensively.”
Spoelstra: “Well, we have to get stops. Every time I looked up they were shooting over 50 percent, and they're a very good offensive team.”
Heat guard Dwyane Wade: “We didn't win tonight, and that's the biggest thing, so we'll find a way to win Game 2, not necessarily worried about me scoring 30.”
