NBA: Heat, Nets unveil all ‘nickname jerseys’ for Friday game Published: January 7, 2014

King James and Jesus Shuttlesworth were easy, but somehow, the Miami Heat have come up with nicknames for their entire roster.

Now no one will feel left out when the team unveils their "nickname jerseys" against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. The Nets will do the same, replacing players' last names with nicknames such as D-Will (Deron Williams), The Big Ticket (Kevin Garnett) and Truth (Paul Pierce), among others. The Heat will wear its nickname jerseys three times (Friday, Jan. 21 and April 8).

The big question: When does the Thunder get its day in nickname glory?
