"What we're attempting to do is to leverage some of the higher end inventory (seats) so we can provide more seats at more affordable prices,” Bennett said. "There is demand. Of course, there are pricing issues. We're doing the best we can to make games accessible to everyone.”
Later this week, the team will unveil a map with prices for "full” season-ticket areas throughout the Ford Center.
"It will give fans a sense of what the pricing is, maybe look at the price where they sat before (for Hornet games), or where they may want to sit now,” Bennett said. "It will give them a chance to think about how many tickets they want to purchase.”
The number of $10 tickets that will be available for 41 home games, and the price and total number of partial season ticket packages, will be announced at a later date.
