RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — New North Carolina State women's basketball coach Wes Moore will have a 5-year contract.

The school's board of trustees has approved a deal running through the 2017-18 season, though there would be an automatic 2-year extension if the program reached the NCAA tournament in either of Moore's first two years.

The school says Moore's base salary will be $260,000. Senior associate athletic director Michael Lipitz says Moore also will receive supplemental pay of $125,000 that will bring his annual compensation to $385,000.

Moore spent the past 15 years at Chattanooga, leading the Lady Mocs to a combined 21 regular-season or tournament titles in the Southern Conference. He also led Chattanooga to the NCAA tournament nine times and has 558 career wins in 24 seasons.
