NCAA hits back, suspends Cowgirls' Riley for a game

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State is counting on star point guard Andrea Riley to lead it back to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament this winter.

The Cowgirls will be hoping the All-Big 12 guard leads them to enough wins for a high seed — and thus an easier first-round game — because the NCAA announced Thursday that it is suspending Riley from her next NCAA Tournament game.
