NCAA Tournament: Ted Johnson says Bryce Drew's shot his No. 1 March Madness moment

Ted Johnson has been a radio and television sports play-by-play man for more than three decades. He's done Major League Baseball, the NBA, the NFL, college football and basketball, the Olympics, tennis and golf. He's been the San Francisco 49ers radio play-by-play voice the past four seasons.

“Bryce Drew's shot is absolutely the No. 1 moment I've ever witnessed in March Madness,” said Johnson, who called the game for CBS. “It wasn't just the drama of the full-court pass that set up the game-winning shot but Bryce Drew's story. It's real life Hoosiers.

“He was a highly recruited player who turned down offers from bigger schools to play for his dad. To put them on the map, help them do something they had never done before, beating a No. 4 seed, what a great story.”

Johnson's call:

“The inbound pass will be thrown by Jamie Sykes. Carter is pressuring ... It's to Jenkins, to Drew, for the win! GOOD! HE DID IT! BRYCE DREW DID IT! Valpo has won the game! A miracle ... An absolute miracle!”
