Oklahoma puts two wrestlers in quarterfinals
DES MOINES, Iowa — Spurred by Alan Gelogaev's quick pins and Blake Rosholt's five-point move, Oklahoma State shook off a mediocre first-round performance and went seven-for-seven in the second round Thursday night to stay on the heels of defending champion Penn State in the NCAA Wrestling Championships.

The Nittany Lions held a slim 32.5-29 lead, thanks to 15.5 bonus points. Minnesota was third with 24, and Iowa was fourth at 22. Oklahoma was ninth with 13.
Seeded 11th at 197 pounds, Rosholt trailed No. 6 Kyven Gadson of Iowa State 2-1 in the final 15 seconds of the first period in their second-round matchup. But the Cowboy junior (16-7) countered the Cyclone's takedown attempt by rolling through for a takedown and three-point near fall. His quick escape in the second period made it 7-2.
It was barely enough.
Gadson came back with an escape and takedown and two stalling penalty points, but Rosholt's third-period escape in scrambling defense in the final 20 seconds made him an 8-7 upset winner.
