NDSU's Anderson makes NCAA golf tournament again

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State University golfer Amy Anderson has made the NCAA Division I women's golf tournament field for the third year in a row.

Anderson is one of 18 at-large qualifiers. The junior from Oxbow with play in the NCAA West Regional at the Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo., May 10-12.

Anderson last year finished in a tie for 12th in the national tournament. She also played in the U.S. Women's Open last summer, where she drew national attention when she finished in a tie for the lead after the first day. She ended up finishing 63rd.

Anderson also was selected to play for Team USA in this June's 2012 Curtis Cup, with features players from the U.S. against a team of players from Great Britain and Ireland.
