Despite a little wind, near perfect fall weather is ahead for Friday and the weekend in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.
Skies will be clear Friday through Sunday with high temperatures near 71 degrees Friday and in the mid-60s Saturday and Sunday. Winds Friday will gust up to 23 mph. Saturday winds will calm down for a near perfect fall day.
The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:
Friday: Sunny with a high near 71. Light west, southwest wind becoming north, northwest 11 to 16 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.
Friday night: Clear with a low around 40. Northwest wind 6 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday: Sunny with a high near 64. North wind 6 to 9 mph.
Saturday night: Clear with a low around 39. Calm wind becoming south, southeast 5 to 7 mph after midnight.
Sunday: Sunny with a high near 66. South wind 8 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 49.
Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 64.
Monday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy with a low around 55. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy with a high near 66. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Tuesday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 42.
