LINCOLN, Neb.Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says star defensive lineman Ndamukong (en-DOM-uh-ken) Suh (Soo) has been disciplined for getting a ticket for negligent driving — not for a violation of team rules — as a result of his ramming three parked cars with his sport utility vehicle.

Pelini said at a news conference Tuesday that the nature of Suh's discipline would be kept in-house.

Suh told police he swerved to avoid hitting a dog or cat crossing the street when his 2003 Land Rover hit the first of the cars on a narrow street in Lincoln early Sunday.

Suh had alcohol in his system, but he tested well below the legal limit.

Pelini has a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol-related offenses. But the coach says Suh was not drunk and that the crash was an accident.

Zero tolerance for alcohol. Isn't the guy 21, and legally able to drink? This kid needs to drink after a game this year. What's wrong with a beer or two to forget the game.

Doesn't know if it was a dog or a cat? He was drinking but he wasn't drunk? It's not alcohol-related - slamming into not one, not two, but three parked cars? None of these people are LYING, are they?
