Neighbor saves Noble boy from dogs

NOBLE — A 12-year-old Noble boy is recovering after he was attacked Thursday evening by five dogs while riding a bicycle near his home.

Ronnie Kessler had 20 to 30 lacerations from the attack, according to Cleveland County Undersheriff Rhett Burnett, including a deep forearm wound that required four staples. The bites were primarily on the boy’s arms and legs.

Burnett said all the dogs belonged to one person. No charges have been filed, though Burnett said the dogs were taken to a veterinarian and could be euthanized.
