New bus driver made it almost through first shift before crashing into a house Published: June 27, 2013

The man behind the wheel of a Worcester Regional Transit Authority bus that smashed through a house Monday was on his first day at the job, according to The Telegram.

The site reports the bus was traveling 38 mph in a 30 mph zone moments before the crash.

Police said it appears the brakes were not applied, and the driver might have suffered some type of medical problem before the crash, The Telegram reports.
