According to an affidavit filed with St. Clair’s charge, Gary Harris told police he overheard a phone conversation between St. Clair and Wooten in which St. Clair said she wanted Barnard assaulted “for what he had done to her.”

Gary Harris said Wooten then passed the phone to him and St. Clair told him she wanted Barnard “beat down.”

According to the affidavits, the six men then drove to Norman and invaded the house where Barnard lived. They returned to Oklahoma City after the shooting where Wooten, Harris and Tubby got rid of evidence related to the incident, including the gun, the affidavit states.

At the initial court appearances, Wooten gave a Spencer address as his home. The other men gave Oklahoma City addresses. All of them have asked for court-appointed attorneys. has disabled the comments for this article.
