Six new pickups are the top prizes in the Oklahoma lottery's newest scratch-off game.

Lottery officials hope "Trucks and Bucks," unveiled Thursday, will help avoid a common summer sales lull.

Five Ford F150 Oklahoma Edition XLT Supercrew Trucks will be won among the 3 million tickets the lottery hopes to sell by September. A sixth truck can be won by one of 10 finalists during a Sept. 16 drawing at the State Fair of Oklahoma, said Jim Scroggins, the lottery's executive director.

The top prize also includes state and federal income taxes for the truck, dealer preparation charges, tag, title and excise taxes, plus $1,000 in cash. Total estimated value: $39,667.

Prizes range from a free ticket to $5,000 in cash to a $499 prize pack from Ford that includes sunglasses, a racing jacket, a watch, an umbrella and other merchandise.

Overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.38. Odds of winning $5,000 are 1 in 121,864. Odds of winning a truck are 1 in 609,320.

This game marks the first in Oklahoma involving cash and merchandize as prizes since the first scratch-off game went on sale in October. Scroggins said "Trucks and Bucks" has become common in other states since it was developed a decade ago.

Elsewhere it generally is used to boost sales during the summer, when lottery players often save money for vacations.
