Oklahoma nonprofit gets new machine for blind workers
NewView Oklahoma is expanding its manufacturing capabilities with new equipment to heat-seal vinyl shower curtains.
A new $50,000 machine was custom-modified so it can be operated safely by NewView employees, who are blind or vision-impaired.
NewView, which formerly was known as the Oklahoma League for the Blind, manufactures about 200,000 shower curtains each year for government agencies.
