First National Center has new ownership — and records show that the title is no longer held by investment groups created by Aaron Yashouafar.
Oklahoma County Assessors records show that when Yashouafar paid off a $12 million mortgage with lender Capmark Bank last week, the title transferred to Los Angeles-based Joshua Paradise Holdings.
The California Secretary of State website shows Joshua Paradise Holdings LLC was formed in 2006 by Leon, John and Yoel Neman, who run Neman Brothers and Associates.
Neither Yashouafar, his attorney, or the Nemans returned calls to The Oklahoman on Monday. The Nemans are owners of an apparel manufacturing company in Los Angeles.
Their Neman Brothers website notes the family business spans three generations and caters to groups of worldwide buyers including fabric wholesalers, garment manufacturers, textile distributors, overseas importers and converters.
Yashouafar, who bought First National Center in 2006 for $21 million, has experienced legal troubles, bankruptcies and foreclosures across the country over the past couple of years.
