Individuals seeking assistance with unmet needs related to the 1995 bombing of Oklahoma City's Alfred P. Murrah Building now have a new toll-free number they can call.

The number is 1 (855) 605-1001.

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation, which has been administering a fund to assist Oklahoma City bombing survivors for nearly 18 years, announced the new telephone line Tuesday.

An accounting firm that recently conducted a forensic investigative review of the Oklahoma City Disaster Relief Fund recommended that the foundation make additional efforts to reach bombing survivors needing assistance who may have fallen through the cracks.

In addition to the telephone number, a website has been created that describes who may still be eligible for assistance. The website address is www.OKCDisasterReliefFund.org.

“We believe that establishing the toll-free telephone line and the website will help make it easier for those who may need assistance to find the fund and the case managers,” said Steven C. Davis, chairman of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Board of Trustees.
