New water play areas to open in Oklahoma City

A children's fountain at Myriad Botanical Gardens will open for a full season for the first time May 1 after a short debut in the fall. And the city parks department will debut a new sprayground.

Most of the spraygrounds are operated with a push-button system, McClintock said.

The spraygrounds will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily May 26 to Sept. 3, she said.
